Liz Roch

Liz Roch is a communications consultant and leader with significant transformation experience and a proven record of success in dynamic, challenging business environments.

Roch joined Strategy Muse, a consulting co-op, as a principal in 2018 and is currently working with clients on many of the most high-profile issues of the day: shaping culture as the meaning of work changes, determining clear values and employee value propositions, supporting return to work, diversity, equity and inclusion and more.

Before joining Strategy Muse, Roch served as the divisional vice president, executive communications and events, at Walgreens. As the company navigated a significant transition from traditional pharmacy retailer into global healthcare company, she and her team helped connect the company’s global vision and unite diverse workforces, advancing the approach to messaging, storytelling and communications. Through eight years at the company, Roch worked closely with Walgreens senior leaders to introduce new cultural initiatives and drive major change efforts through mergers, significant leadership turnover and major business disruption and development.

Prior to joining Walgreens, Roch spent nearly 15 years at United Airlines, leading the communications team through a complex business environment, finishing her career at the company as the managing director, internal communications. At United, Roch was responsible for the strategy and execution of United’s corporate-wide employee, operations, customer experience, human resources and benefits communications. Along with other leaders from United’s Corporate Affairs, she planned and led United’s communications responses to September 11, bankruptcy, major product launches and the countless operational issues that were the drumbeat of communications at United.
