This is the third installment of a series of monthly thought leadership pieces entitled “IABC Research & Insights.” These pieces present a unique perspective, based on proprietary IABC data and the views of the authors. We hope this article, and the ones that follow, spark discussions at the chapter, regional and international level.
During its most recent Member Month, which celebrates all of the benefits, colleagues and opportunities that exist within the association, IABC attracted more than 330 new members. These professionals have backgrounds and skills that will help shape the priorities of the organization in the coming months and years.
These members are part of a larger group who join IABC throughout the year. To develop a better understanding of the changing membership, we examined the descriptive data (voluntarily provided) from the 1,000 newest IABC members. Please note that the percentages below are derived only from those who submitted a response in a specific category, not from all 1,000 members.
