Aurecon's Advisory Ambition Campaign
by: Erin Thompson

Aurecon is a global engineering and infrastructure advisory company with a presence in more than 20 countries across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. In July 2017, Aurecon established a global Advisory business to offer strategic and technical advisory services to our clients. These services, and the people implementing them, give Aurecon greater scope to add value, either as a standalone opportunity or when integrated with our existing engineering and infrastructure services.

The Advisory business rapidly went from shaping and building to an expansion phase. In 2018, Advisory was identified in Aurecon's strategy blueprint as a key focus of the business, with ambitious growth targets. Informal internal research revealed that the Advisory business (made up of six service lines) was booming, but that this existing volume of committed projects and healthy pipeline of opportunities, combined with the strategic growth targets, could not be achieved with the current staff numbers. Attracting talent to enable the delivery of these projects was imperative. In addition, broadening awareness of the Advisory business was key to achieving the strategic growth targets for the business. The communication team developed a multi-pronged communication initiative, with the ultimate goals of attracting talent and increasing market awareness of Aurecon's Advisory offerings.
